Hair Types, and Descriptions

Oriental Hair– Is good to use when wanting straight hair since it is thicker denier and straighter than other types of hair. Oriental hair is also used for most blondes due to the fact that it can withstand more processing than most human hair types.

Indian Hair– Is a softer finer denier, great for dark colors due to less processing and for clients with fine textured hair.

Cuticle Hair– is hair with the cuticle still attached. The hair is processed a certain way and vented in a special way to help pertain tangling. Due to the high quality and the procedures of processing this hair there is an additional charge when requesting cuticle hair.

Fiber:- there is different types of fibers that can be requested, when ordering custom.

Synthetic Fiber- a fiber made to resemble human hair. Heat may never be applied to synthetic fiber or it will cause it to melt.

Color Hi-Lite color Distribution- Is the blending and sections of different hair color distributed throughout the system. The percentage of highlights you want in the system determines the spacing of the highlights and the size of the highlight spots.

Gray-  Gray hair pieces and wigs are available but usually they are made with a lower quality of human hair or even synthetic hair since so much chemical treatment is required to make the hair such a light color.

Type of Binding in hair pieces– The binding is the finishing around the perimeter of the unit. Some units, such as all lace bases do not have binding. When ordering a custom made system with a binding you need to choose the type of binding your prefer and where you would like the binding to start and end. Do you want it temple to temple in the front only, temple to temple back only or all around the perimeter of the system?
